Discovering Growth Gatherings is at the core of who we are here at FBC.  These four classes define for you who we are, what our hopes and dreams are, and what we value.  These classes are offered Sunday mornings from 9:30am to 10:15am in led by our pastors.  They are designed to encourage you to take your next step in your spiritual journey.

Here at FBC we truly believe that every member has a place and we desire to see every member discover their faith and grow deep in that faith and spread wide the love of Christ.  That's why we offer four core Discovering Growth Gatherings.  As you move your way through each gathering you will be challenge to take your next step in discovering growth.  Below is a brief description of our four core gatherings.

DISCOVERING CHURCH MEMBERSHIP

Discovering Church Membership is a four-week gathering designed to help the new attender discover what makes First Baptist church tick.  This gathering is a behind the scenes look at our history, our organization, our beliefs, and our hopes and dreams.  This gathering is a prerequisite to becoming a member of First Baptist Church.

DISCOVERING the H.A.B.I.T.S. of a DISCIPLE

(Led by Pastor Ricc)

During this four-week gathering we will begin to discover what we consider to be the six essential habits of a follower of Jesus Christ.  We will look at ideas like Hanging Out With God, Accountability, Bible Study, Involvement in Church, Tithing, and Sharing Our Story.  Valuable habits of a growing follower of Jesus Christ.

 

DISCOVERING MY PLACE TO SERVE

Discovering My Place to Serve is a four-week gathering designed to create an atmosphere where a follower of Christ can discover their spiritual gifts and along with their passions and talents discover there place to serve.  Here at FBC we are not interested in filling a position.  No, we are truly passionate about helping you discover how God has wired you and together discovering where your best place of service is here at FBC and in your own community.

 

DISCOVERING HOW TO SHARE MY STORY

Ever shared your story?  Did you know you even had a story to share?  During this four-week gathering each participant will discover how to share their Jesus story in many different ways.  By the end of the four weeks you will be able to share the Gospel with such amazing confidence so that your neighbor may know Christ.
