First Baptist Church has partnered with a new like-minded church coming to South Lakeland/Bartow area called LifeBridge Church of Lakeland.  What does that mean?  Most importantly, it means that we have partnered with them in prayer.  We are asking God to enable Life Bridge to reach their community that their neighbor may know Christ.  Secondly, it means that we will be sending volunteers to help Life Bridge get started.  As a new church begins they can never have enough help.  You can sign up to volunteer by clicking on the Life Bridge Icon to the right.  Finally, it means that we will have two special offerings to help support Life Bridge Church as they launch.  We are hoping that you will join us in growing God's Kingdom!  What we can't do together!

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS RETURN FEBRUARY 3, 2010!

Wednesday Nights are really exciting around First Baptist Church.  We have something for everyone.  The evening begins at 5:45 with an amazing dinner prepared by our volunteers.  At 6:45 our children and youth head to their groups and our adults participate in a time of teaching and small group discussions.  Reservations for dinner are needed by Tuesday afternoon.  If you would like to come please make your reservation here or call the church office (863-422-4542).
